Aiita is a Wildlife Biologist, National Geographic Young Explorer, and digital creator from Uganda- with utter interests and experiences in conservation and nature-climate policy.  He is as well a previously Senior fellow at GAPELI, a global youth-centered knowledge sharing platform on Global Health and Environmental conservation and awareness. He has led and supported a series of youth biodiversity faced workshops and engagements locally through the GYBN Uganda Chapter Network and his signature “Your Nature Inspiration” Program on building awareness and enhancing conservation knowledge. Aiita holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Health and Management from Makerere University, Kampala-Uganda.

He believes in the power of nature-based sciencetelling and storytelling which he strongly agrees is an effective tool at influencing the mindsets of local communities and youth actors within the nature and climate space for sustainable socio-economic-environmental benefits. This forms the baseline inspiration to his content development track over the past few years; tourism travel and development blogs, herpetological blogs and ecosystem-based research, community sensitization engagements.

He too is highly fascinated by conservation policies and how these influence on the ground action on biodiversity conservation efforts. Joshua holds special skills in Geographical Informations Systems, field based wildlife conservation techniques, community conservation  awareness and content creation among others.

During his personal time, Aiita may often be tied up in the world of reggae music, watching soccer and movies, and connecting with friends.
