Ashik Iqbal is a young researcher and activist from Bangladesh. He is born and grew up in a small beautiful village in Kushtia district of Bangladesh.

He has “BSc in Civil Engineering” and is pursuing “MSc in Water Resources Development”. He is a Research Assistant at Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET.

He has spoken in international conferences and published writings at conferences and newspapers. He has worked with JICA, NWO and volunteered for national and international organizations.

His interest is in solving the challenges in the environment and climate sector. He wants to make the earth green and the world sustainable again.

Along with the works, he loves reciting poems, playing cricket and gossiping with random people on random topics.
