Daniel Thomas is a highly accomplished youth advocate, environmentalist, speaker, recognized author, and innovator. He works alongside regional river authorities, state and national legislators, and global leaders at the United Nations. As a Young Texas Ambassador and a UN Youth Advocate, Daniel actively addresses environmental and youth-related issues on both local and global stages. He is the founder of the "Sustainability Program," which has earned him multiple local awards for its substantial environmental impact. His innovative spirit is highlighted by his development of a water disinfection device, a project that earned him recognition as a 3M Young Scientist, Broadcom Masters, and a National STEM Festival Awardee. Among his many honors, Daniel has been named a UN Young Champion and received the Texas Environmental Excellence Award from the Texas Governor’s Office—the state's highest honor for environmental conservation. His efforts have been celebrated by cities across North Texas, the Texas House of Representatives, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the United Nations Environment Programme. Daniel’s leadership and unwavering commitment to service set a remarkable example for his peers and communities worldwide.
