Since our team more than tripled in size in 2020, our content production needs have dramatically increased. From hosting regular webinars, to running campaigns on social media, to producing podcasts, developing educational materials, and just keeping up with day-to-day communications tasks, we are busy!
As a digital and global organisation, our online presence is critical to how we reach our audiences as well as how we are seen by them. A strong, consistent and professional online presence is central to our credibility as an organisation and it meaningfully builds our online engagement and community. At the current rate of what we are delivering as an organisation, we need a larger Communications team to both support our ongoing work in new and creative ways as well as to develop more Y4N created content, in alignment with our 2021 Communications Plan.
The part-time Media Director will work collaboratively with the Communications Director to support the media-production related needs of the full Y4N team. They will work directly with project leads and teams to ideate, create, manage and deliver audio and video assets that reflect our organisational values, are engaging and relevant to our audiences, and realistic within our organisational capacities.
We invite youth from across the globe with proven experience in media production, interest in the nature-climate nexus, and passion for youth leadership to apply. For the full position description, and instructions to apply, click the button below:
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Interviews will be arranged to begin on March 11. Interested candidates should submit their application as soon as possible
With love and solidarity,
The Youth4Nature Team
