We can. We will. YOUTH CAN. YOUTH WILL
Y4Nβs first global youth delegation was to New York Climate Week in 2019, and we are so thrilled to be heading back to the π½ Big Apple for more during New York Climate Week 2023!
Happening from 17-24 September, this gathering brings together key stakeholders from across the climate movement, including the private sector, governments, activists, and funders. With over 400+ events on the schedule and activities happening across the whole city, all alongside the UN General Assembly, this is a bustling event!
We are ready to make waves on the ground! We are focusing on:
π£ Promoting youth representation in the international sphere, advocating for a just and equitable global climate and nature narrative.
π¦Ύ Strengthening youth capacity by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to meaningfully contribute to climate and nature solutions both locally and globally.
π± Fostering inclusivity by building relationships with other youth and allies, creating a collaborative and resilient youth community striving towards a shared vision.
Our week is already jam-packed! We are launching a micro-storytelling campaign, hosting events around nature-based solutions, holding space for youth networking and rest, and delivering training and capacity-building workshops for our delegates. Keep reading to get to know our team, learn more about our events, and find out how to connect on the ground!
