Storytelling Campaign

The Storytelling Campaign - the 🌾stem of our Arboreal Framework - is all about collecting and amplifying the impactful stories from youth around the world about climate and nature. So far, we have run two global collection campaigns and various thematic/regional competitions. And, we employ digital platforms and in-person platforms to promote the stories we receive and their authors, from social and traditional media to physical and virtual exhibitions!

PARTICIPATe IN THE CAMPAIGN

Stories can be about projects, reflections, or art, and are accepted in various formats, including text, photo, audio, and video. We invite submissions in all languages, especially English, Español, Français, Kiswahili, Português and  العربية.

Stories are accepted on a rolling basis. Sometimes we run competitions or special calls with eligibility and deadline restrictions, you will usually find them advertised on this page and our social media platforms (@Y4Nature / #Y4NStorytelling).

We share & amplify Youth Stories in many diverse ways!

We started our own magazine - PolleNectar! 🐝 Each issue showcases different stories, storytellers, ecosystems, and more!

We highlight our favourite stories on our social media platforms and sometimes share our platform with storytellers! Follow #Y4NStorytelling on social media to see all this goodness and more!

We like to keep connected to Y4N Storytellers to get updates on projects, hear how stories have progressed or adapted, and of course just to say hello! In our interviews with Esmeralda, Iryna, Renata, and Lydia, four of our amazing 2019 storytellers from Europe, Latin America, and Africa we even discussed why it's important for youth to share their stories about climate and nature!
